Penn State Schuylkill volleyball bounced back in impressive fashion Thursday night, rolling to a straight-set win (25–8, 25–5, 25–10) over NCAA Division III Rosemont. The Lions controlled every phase of the match, finishing with a .286 team hitting percentage and piling up 13 service aces.
Lainey Dusel led the attack with nine kills on a blistering .667 clip, while Amanda Burns added four kills and three aces. Ryliegh Sinko ran a balanced offense with 19 assists and chipped in four aces of her own. Defensively, Lyla Kershner anchored the back row with 12 digs as Schuylkill limited the Ravens to a -.185 hitting percentage.
The win lifts the Lions to 4–4 overall as they turn their attention back to PSUAC play. They'll host Penn State Scranton on Saturday at noon to kick off a home tripleheader with men's soccer at 2 p.m. and women's soccer at 4 p.m.
