Schuylkill Finishes Perfect in Conference Play, Clinches #1 Seed
Penn State Schuylkill closed out an undefeated PSUAC regular season in dominant fashion, blanking Beaver 7–0 on the road.
Penn State Schuylkill women's soccer wrapped up an incredible regular season with a 7–0 shutout over Penn State Beaver, finishing 9–5 overall and 7–0 in PSUAC play to secure the #1 seed in the upcoming conference playoffs. The Lions' offense exploded for 65 shots, including 34 on goal, while their defense didn't allow a single shot on target.
The scoring started early when Alyssa DeBronzo struck unassisted in the 10th minute. Olivia Dress followed with back-to-back goals just seconds apart, including one assisted by Nancy Le, giving Schuylkill a commanding 3–0 halftime lead. The second half saw five more players get in on the action — Leah Alexander, Makenzie Wechsler, Abigail Klokis, and Adyson Youse — each adding goals to punctuate the team's balanced attack.
Defensively, goalkeepers Kay Lee Morgan and Victoria Grimm combined for a clean sheet, holding Beaver to just one total shot. Schuylkill also tallied six corner kicks and dominated possession throughout.
