Late Goals Highlight Gritty Effort on the Road at Christendom

Penn State Schuylkill showed resilience in the second half of Saturday's non-conference match, scoring twice in the final 11 minutes in a 7-2 loss at Christendom College. Despite falling behind early, the Lions refused to fold, finding energy late and capitalizing on scoring chances to close the match on a positive note.

Sophomore Abigail Klokis put Schuylkill on the board in the 79th minute with a well-struck free kick from outside the box. Just seven minutes later, Morgan Rank finished a through pass from Madison Warnack, giving Schuylkill its second goal and ending the match with momentum heading into a busy week.

On the defensive end, goalkeeper Kay Lee Morgan faced a barrage of shots and finished with 15 saves, holding firm under pressure from a Christendom offense that recorded 30 total shots and 22 on goal.
