Penn State Schuylkill men's soccer took the field on Sunday afternoon for its final home match of the regular season, honoring its graduating seniors and 2+2 players — Jacob Moser, Zack Wilcox, Bryce Hensley, Ronald Kanyangarara, Yiljep Yiljep, and Chad Schwartz — for their leadership, dedication, and contributions to the program.
On the field, the Lions battled through a challenging matchup against a strong Penn State New Kensington side, falling 8–1. Michael Merianos provided Schuylkill's highlight of the afternoon, scoring in the 22nd minute off a loose ball in the box to put the Lions on the board.
Goalkeeper Bryce Hensley recorded six saves on 14 shots, while veterans Moser, Kanyangarara, and Yiljep each helped anchor Schuylkill's attack and midfield play. The team continued to show competitive fight through all 90 minutes, supported by an appreciative home crowd celebrating the Class of 2025.
