The 2025 PSUAC Golf Championship was held alongside the USCAA National Championship at the Penn State Blue Course, featuring two days of top collegiate competition.
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Schuylkill capped off a memorable 2025 fall season with an impressive showing at the PSUAC Golf Championships held at the Penn State Blue Course. The Lions posted a two-day total of 644 (330–314) to finish sixth overall in a tightly packed field that saw just 12 strokes separating the top six teams.
Schuylkill's steady improvement from round one to round two reflected the team's growth and competitive drive all season long. After opening with a 330 in challenging, wet conditions on Monday, the Lions rallied with a season-low 314 on Tuesday, marking one of the strongest single-day performances in program history at the conference championships.
Leading the way for Schuylkill was first-year standout Cole Yelinek, who fired rounds of 78 and 75 to finish at 153, tying for fifth overall and earning PSUAC All-Conference honors. Yelinek's consistent play put him alongside the league's best, capping an exceptional debut season.
Behind him, Rylen Matlock followed with a solid two-day total of 156, while Hayden Lee (167), Branson Devitt (168), and Bryce Peiffer-Lesher (173) rounded out the scoring lineup.
