Penn State Schuylkill battled back after an early deficit but ultimately fell just short in the second game of the doubleheader.
Mont Alto erupted for seven runs in the second inning, highlighted by a three-run homer from Cameron Bailey and a three-run home run by James Sibert, giving the hosts an early advantage.
Schuylkill responded in the fourth inning, cutting into the lead when Yostin Guerrero Solano singled to score Conner Licklider before Tyler Shuey delivered a bases-clearing triple, bringing home three runs to pull the Lions within four.
The Lions continued the comeback in the sixth inning as Dan Zimmerman launched a two-run home run, and another run crossed later in the inning to make it 11–7.
