DUBOIS, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Baseball fell to Florida National University on the opening day of the USCAA World Series.
Following two scoreless innings, a single and a home run in the top of the third inning led to runs for Florida National. Florida National's momentum carried over to the next frame as two doubles and another home run hit ultimately led to an additional four runs. Florida National would clinch the victory after tallying five runs in the top of the fourth inning.
Brenan Adams (Pottsville, PA / Pottsville Area High School) went a perfect 2-2 at bat in the loss.
Schuylkill will return to action on Tuesday, May 14th as they take on Mid Atlantic Christian in a win or go home contest at 1:00 p.m.
