Penn State Schuylkill men’s and women’s cross country both claim sixth-place team finishes at Saturday’s meet.

The women's squad turned in a strong collective showing, earning a 6th-place finish with a team score of 194 points and an average time of 34:15.88. Leading the way once again was Lilley Anderson, who clocked a season-best 28:06.48, finishing 26th overall. Close behind was JiaYi Gong with a steady 32:47.32 pace, followed by Abigail Smithnosky (33:16.31) and Addison Zimmerman (33:16.75), who finished just steps apart. Hanna Bulles and Jessica Cecil rounded out the lineup with determined efforts to secure the team's top-six placement.

The men's team also earned a 6th-place finish behind a balanced group performance that produced a team score of 184 and an average time of 36:59.23. Ashton Owens continued his strong season as Schuylkill's top finisher, placing 33rd with a time of 33:29.10. He was followed closely by Gabriel Karnes (35:30.09), Matthew O (36:10.06), and Francisco Ortiz (37:23.45). Justin Garrido rounded out the scoring five, crossing in 42:23.46 to help the Lions lock in their sixth-place standing.
