In a tight opener, Penn State Schuylkill scratched across the only run of the game in the sixth inning to secure a 1-0 win over PSU Mont Alto. Senior Emma Crisswell dazzled in the circle, tossing a complete-game shutout with 11 strikeouts and no walks, while Keira Devor delivered the game-winning RBI on a sacrifice fly to plate Mackenzie Carl. The Lions' defense backed Crisswell perfectly, committing no errors behind her.
Game 2: Schuylkill 3, Mont Alto 0
Schuylkill's bats came alive in the third inning of Game 2, highlighted by a two-run home run off the bat of Jade Weiss. Emma Crisswell once again dominated from the mound, working around eight hits to fire her second shutout of the day, striking out six. The Lions capitalized on Mont Alto miscues to add a third run, securing the 3-0 victory and a perfect Senior Night celebration.
Between games, Schuylkill honored seniors Emma Crisswell, Alyssa Youst, Morgan Kleckner, Kaely Walshaw, Izzy Caruso, and Cealinn McGroarty — a special group that set new records and helped elevate the program to new heights and milestones.
