Schuylkill Softball Dominates in Doubleheader Sweep of Scranton

Game 1 – Schuylkill 8, Scranton 0 (6 Innings)

Emma Crisswell was untouchable in the circle, tossing a complete-game no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and just two walks over six dominant innings. She helped her own cause at the plate with a 2-run home run in the third inning to open the scoring. A five-run fifth inning broke the game wide open, with RBI contributions from Jade Weiss, Mackenzie Carl, Megan Marks, and Alyssa Youst to secure the run-rule win.

The Lions wasted no time in the nightcap, scoring four runs in the opening frame and never letting up. Keira Devor led the offense, going 3-for-3 with 2 RBIs, while Cealinn McGroarty and Alyssa Youst each drove in two runs. Crisswell returned to the circle and tossed another gem, this time allowing just 2 hits with 6 strikeouts in a complete-game shutout.
