The Nittany Lions (3-6) secured a 2-1 victory in Game 1 behind strong pitching and defense but fell 10-0 in five innings in Game 2 as Marywood's offense came alive.

A pair of unearned runs in the second inning proved to be the difference for Schuylkill in the opener. K. Devor and M. Marks both crossed the plate after an error in right field, giving the Nittany Lions an early 2-0 lead. Marywood responded in the third with an RBI double from T. Para, but Schuylkill's defense held firm the rest of the way.
