MYRTLE BEACH, Sc. – Penn State Schuylkill Softball fell in the first half of their Tuesday doubleheader to Baker University.
After a scoreless two innings to begin the contest, Baker hit the ball a total of eight times during the third inning, ultimately leading to eight runs. Baker managed to add four more points to their total during the fourth inning following two doubles and a triple.
Alivia Payne (Dover, PA / Northeastern High School) and Alyssa Youst (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Blue Mountain High School) recorded singles for Schuylkill.
Schuylkill (0-3 overall, 0-0 PSUAC) will take on Bay Path University in the second half of their doubleheader.
