Schuylkill opened the match with energy, trading early points in the first set. Reno Plesnarski and Bryce Hensley led the attack, keeping the Lions within striking distance at 15-16 before Hood pulled away late to take the set 25-19.
The second set was the most intense of the night, with Schuylkill pushing Hood to the brink. After falling behind 12-7, the Lions rallied behind key kills from Jeremiah Miller and Hensley to tie the set at 17. The teams went back and forth, with Schuylkill holding a late lead at 24-23 before Hood clawed back to edge out a 27-25 win.
The third set saw Hood seize momentum early, jumping to a 10-5 lead. Schuylkill struggled to find its rhythm offensively, as Hood capitalized on strong serving runs and efficient hitting. The Lions battled to the final point but couldn't recover, dropping the final set 25-14.
