Men's Track & Field Performs at Ursinus College

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Men's Track & Field performed well at the Ursinius College Track & Field Festival.  

Steven Cope (Frackville, PA / North Schuylkill High School) placed 4^th overall in the pole vault at 3.65 meters, which is good for 81^st overall in the NAIA national rankings. Also finishing 4^th overall in his event was Lamine Diop (Cincinnati, OH / Finneytown High School) who completed the high jump event at 1.80 meters.

Pascal Deppisch (Danville, VT / Danville High School) placed 8^th overall in the 5000-meter event, crossing the finish line at 16:54.83. Finishing right outside of the top ten was Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM High School), who crossed the finish line at 17:08.75, placing him 12^th overall.

Competing in the 3000-meter steeplechase event was Aramis Rosario-Gonzalez (Columbia, MD / Glenelg County High School) who finished 5th overall at 14:06.00.

Ashton Owens (Pine Grove, PA / Pine Grove Area High School) placed 18^th overall in the 400-meter event, finishing at 57.14. Also placed for that event was Keith King Jr., who placed 31^st overall with a time of 1:02.08.

Owens also made an appearance in the 800-meter event, placing 34^th overall with a time of 2:19.29. Right behind Owens was Matthew O who crossed the finish line at 2:19.57, securing the 35^th place finish.

Additional Notes:

Ethan Jennings placed 14^th in the 100 Meter event, finishing in 13.45.

Diop participated in the 400-meter hurdles, placing 11^th with a time of 1:04.79.

Rosario-Gonzalez competed in the 5000 meter, placing 20^th with a time of 20:01.20.

Kyrie Edwards (Winchester, CA / Vista Murrieta High School) placed 10^th overall in the high jump finishing at 1.60 meters. Edwards also competed in the men's long jump, placing 25^th overall at 4.81 meters.

Kyle Kaminski (Lodi, NJ / Saint Mary High School) finished the shot put at 9.29 meters, placing him 19^th overall for the event.
