Track and Field Competes in SRU Last Chance Meet
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field competed in the SRU Last Chance Meet at Slippery Rock University on Friday.
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. - Men's and Women's Track and Field competed in the SRU Last Chance Meet at Slippery Rock University this past Friday.
Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) participated in the Men's 1500 Meter Run as well as the Men's 3000 Meter Steeplechase. O completed the Men's 1500 with a time of 4:55.83 which was good for fourth place overall. O finished in second place during the steeplechase event with a time of 10:34.37.
Nadia King (Harrisburg, PA / Susquehanna) represented Schuylkill in the Women's 100 Meter Hurdles, finishing in 8th place with a time of 18.08. King also competed in the Women 100 Meter Dash and the Women Long Jump. Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / John F Kennedy) competed in the Women's 3000 Meter Steeplechase challenge, finishing in second with a time of 13:35.63. Also competing in the steeplechase was Evelyn Louca (Westfield, PA / Cowanesque Valley). Mowafi made an appearance in the Women's 400 Meter Hurdles as well.
