Men's and Women's Track Competes in the Ed Fry Invitational
Track and Field competed in the Ed Fry Invitational at Indiana University of Pennsylvania this past Saturday.
Penn State Schuylkill Men's and Women's Track and Field participated in the Ed Fry Invitational held at Indiana University of Pennsylvania this past Saturday.
Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / John F Kennedy) made appearances in the Women's 800 Meter Run, Women's 3000 Meter Run as well as the Women's 400 Meter Hurdles, finishing with a time of 3:08 during the Women's 800m. Mowafi made school history last weekend at the Muhlenberg Invitational as she became the first female athlete in Penn State Schuylkill history to compete in the Steeplechase event.
Pascal Deppisch (Danville, VT / Danville) and Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) competed in the Men's 1500 Meter Run as well as the Men's 5000 Meter Run. Deppisch's time of 4:38 during the Men's 1500 ranked him in the top 10 for the event. Deppisch also made an appearance in the Men's Long Jump.
Track and Field will be off next weekend before traveling to Dallas, PA to compete in the Misericordia Invitational on April 21st.
