Men's and Women's Track Competes in the Muhlenberg Invitational
Penn State Schuylkill Men’s and Women’s Track competed in the Muhlenberg Outdoor Invitational this past Saturday.
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Penn State Schuylkill Men's and Women's Track and Field competed in the Muhlenberg Outdoor Invitational this past Saturday. There was a total of 18 teams participating in this event.
Nadia King (Harrisburg, PA / Susquehanna) participated in the Women 100 Meter Dash and finished with a time of 13.28 which was good for 13th overall. King also participated in the Women 100 Meter Hurdles and finished with a time of 18.17. Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / John F Kennedy) competed in the Women 3000m Steeple, the first female in school history to compete in the event. Mowafi finished with a time of 16:55. Evelyn Louca (Westfield, PA / Cowanesque Valley) made an appearance in the Women 400 Meter Hurdles.
Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) made an appearance in the Men 1500 Meter Run and finished with a time of 4:48. O also competed in the Men 800 Meter Run and finished at 2:19, both personal records for O. Pascal Deppisch (Danville, VT / Danville) competed in the Men 5000m and finished with a time of 17:39.
Men's and Women's Track and Field are set to compete in the Ed Fry Invitational this Saturday, April 8th hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
