Golf Continues Season at Elizabethtown
Schuylkill was led by sophomore Rylen Matlock with an 86.
Penn State Schuylkill finished with a team score of 357 in their second outing of the season, highlighted by steady rounds from returners and newcomers alike.
Competing at Elizabethtown, Rylen Matlock paced the Lions with an 86, followed closely by Cole Yelinek with an 88. Hayden Lee turned in a 90, while Branson Devitt carded a 93 and Conner Licklider finished at 97 to round out the lineup.
The event also gave Schuylkill a chance to see new golfers step into competitive action and gain valuable experience early in the year. With a mix of veteran leadership and fresh faces, the team showed promise as they continue to prepare for conference competition.
The Lions return to action on September 17 at Penn National Golf Course, hosted by Penn State Mont Alto.
