Men's Golf Falls to Penn State Wilkes-Barre

BENTON, Pa. – The Penn State Schuylkill men's golf team fell to Penn State Wilkes-Barre in a closely contested dual meet on Thursday.

Wilkes-Barre secured the win with a team score of 330, edging out Schuylkill's 338. Wilkes-Barre had two players finish in the 70s, with scores of 72 and 78. For Schuylkill, Rylen Matlock (New Philadelphia, PA / Pottsville Area) and Gavin Evitts (Auburn, PA / Schuylkill Haven) led the team, each posting a score of 83. Adam Carroll (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Blue Mountain) and Branson Devitt (Auburn, PA / Blue Mountain) followed closely, both finishing with an 86.

Schuylkill will return to action on Monday, September 30^th as they are set to compete in the PSUAC Blue Course Invitational at State College, PA.
