Penn State Schuylkill capped off the regular season with a 4-1 win over Scranton, securing the #1 seed in the PSUAC East ahead of the playoffs.

In their final PSUAC regular season contest, Penn State Schuylkill took care of business with a 4-1 victory over Penn State Scranton, locking up the #1 seed in the East Division for the upcoming PSUAC playoffs. The postseason tournament will be held this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in DuBois, PA.
Schuylkill's offense found its rhythm in the middle innings, scoring once in the third and breaking the game open with a three-run fifth inning. Key RBI hits came from Brenan Adams, Yostin Guerrero, and Kyle Kaminski, while the team racked up 11 hits on the day. Conner Licklider sparked the offense with two hits and a stolen base, and Owen Zimmerman added a double and a run scored.
On the mound, Zimmerman was dominant, throwing a complete game. He allowed just two hits and one earned run across seven innings, striking out five and walking none. His only blemish was a solo home run given up in the seventh inning, but he remained in full control from start to finish to earn the win.
The Nittany Lions now shift their focus to the PSUAC postseason, riding momentum and ready to compete for a conference championship.
