Ashton Owens Earns PSUAC Men's Runner of the Week Honors
Ashton Owens was named the PSUAC Male Runner of the Week after setting a new course record at the PSUAC Invitational and leading Penn State Schuylkill to a first-place finish at the PSUAC Invitational.
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. – Ashton Owens was named the PSUAC Men's Runner of the Week for the second time this season after setting a new course record at the PSUAC Invitational and leading Penn State Schuylkill to a first-place finish at the PSUAC Invitational.
Ashton Owens (Pine Grove, PA / Pine Grove) completed the course in 28:16.6 seconds, 36 seconds ahead of second place. Owens has been a steady runner for Penn State Schuylkill throughout the fall season, improving on his season best record a total of three times and finishing in the top two for Schuylkill in every event this season.
Schuylkill will run next at the 15th Annual Go-Fast River Run hosted by Lock Haven University.
