Zoë Gannon Shines Bright as Three Athletes Earn PSUAC Player of the Week Honors
Zoë Gannon, Matthew O, and Grace Fenstermacher received PSUAC Player of the Week honors for their performances throughout the week
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. – Zoë Gannon, Matthew O, and Grace Fenstermacher received PSUAC Player of the Week honors for their performances over the course of the week.
Zoë Gannon (Leesport, PA / Schuylkill Valley) was named the PSUAC Women's Soccer Defender of the Week for the second consecutive week in a row, third overall for the season. Gannon finished with two goals and an assist in Penn State Schuylkill's 12-1 victory over PSUAC opponent Penn State Hazleton. Gannon concluded the week with 5 points and 16 shots.
Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) earned PSUAC Men's Runner of the Week honors after placing 22nd at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial this past weekend in a pool of 75 runners. O finished with a time of 31:45.9. This marks O's second time this season accomplishing this feat.
Grace Fenstermacher (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) was named the PSUAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week after scoring a team-high 5 goals with an assist in Schuylkill's 12-1 win over Penn State Hazleton. Fenstermacher is currently tied for the most goals on the team with 12.
