Men's and Women's Track Performs at USCAA Invitational
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field competed in the USCAA Track and Field Invitational on Saturday, April 29th in Springfield, Massachusetts. Malak Mowafi received a silver medal for her performance in the Women 3000 Meter Steeplechase.
SPRINGFIELD, Ma. - Men's and Women's Track and Field competed in the USCAA Track and Field Invitational on Saturday, April 29th in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / John F Kennedy) competed in the Women 3000 Meter Steeplechase, finishing in second place with a time of 15:17.73. Evelyn Louca (Westfield, PA / Cowanesque Valley) made an appearance in the Women 800 Meter Run as well as the Women 400 Meter Hurdles.
Pascal Deppisch (Danville, VT / Danville) competed in the Men 1500 Meter Run as well as the Men 5000 Meter Run. For the Men 1500, Deppisch finished with a time of 4:40.55 which was good for 10th overall. For the Men 5000, Deppsich finished 7th overall with a time of 17:15.90. Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) also made an appearance in the 5000 Meter, finishing 13th overall with a time of 17:56.82.
