Schuylkill Cross Country participates in annual Sol Lipton 5K race.

In the 5K race, Schuylkill's Lauren Malampy placed 3rd overall, and won the 14-18 age division, with and 23:37. Malampy's time was 5 minutes and 13 Seconds behind the women's 5K winner.

Malampy and the Lady Lions will next be competing on Sept 17 at an event hosted by PSU Wilkes-Barre.
