From the start, the Lady Lions were dominated on the glass by the visitors from Penn College. Schuylkill was out-rebounded 29-17 in the first half. This huge advantage helped the Lady Wildcats to a 35-31 lead entering the break. In the second half, the Schuylkill trailed by as many as 11 points as Penn College continued to pound the ball inside. At 54-43, with 7 minutes remaining to play the Lady Lions made a run cut the Penn College lead to one, on a steal and lay-up by Katelyn Celani (Freshman/Sch. Haven). It would end up being Schuylkill's final basket of the game.
The Lady Lions will close out their season on Sat. Feb. 18th hosting PSU York at 1 pm on "Senior Day".
