Lady Lions fall in season opener 39-92.
Lady Spartans ran past Lady Lion, on their way to 92-39 victory.
The Lady Lions battled throughout the first half against the Lady Spartans, trailing by three (23-26) with 6:43 to go in the half. That was as close as Schuylkill would come as the Lady Spartans closed out the half on an 18-2 run, taking a 19 point lead into the break (44-25).
The second half was much like the end of the first half, as foul trouble and a lack of depth continued to plague the Lady Lions. Northampton rolled to a 92-39 victory, forcing the Lady Lions into 42 turnovers and holding them to 27% shooting on the evening.
