Schuylkill drop battle with Brandywine, 94-89.

For the second time this year, Penn State Schuylkill lost a tight game to PSU Brandywine. Schuylkill started the game fast, going 6-8 from the three point line, including 3-4 from Colin Nurse Jr. (Junior/ Prospect Heights, NY). Schuylkill used that shooting performance to stake themselves a five point lead at the break, 43-38.

In the second half, Schuylkill was unable to stop Brandywine guard, Rasheed Wilkins, who scored 24 of his game high 33 in the second half. Schuylkill had four players in double-digits, led by Paul Carey (Junior/ Schuylkill Haven) with 18, Patrick Killian (Junior/ Blue Mountain) and Michael Stewart (Freshman/ Parkway West) each with 14 and Colin Nurse Jr. added 12 points.

Penn State Schuylkill will be back in action Wed. Jan. 25th @ PSU Hazleton 8:00 PM.
